Anchored in the Morning
Lamentations 3:22–23
Before the noise of the day begins, there is a quiet appointment waiting for you. The prophet wrote from the ruins of a fallen city, yet he could still say that God's mercies are new every morning. Our circumstances do not set the terms of God's faithfulness. Whatever yesterday held, today opens with fresh grace — enough for this day, and renewed again tomorrow. Begin here: not with your strength, but with His steadfast love.
Reflect: Where do you need new mercy this morning? Name it, and receive it before you rise to serve.

Lamentations 3:22–23
Avant que le bruit du jour ne commence, un rendez-vous paisible vous attend. Le prophète écrivait au milieu des ruines d'une ville tombée, et pourtant il pouvait encore dire que les compassions de Dieu se renouvellent chaque matin. Nos circonstances ne dictent pas les termes de la fidélité de Dieu. Quoi qu'ait contenu hier, aujourd'hui s'ouvre par une grâce nouvelle — suffisante pour ce jour, et renouvelée demain. Commencez ici : non par votre force, mais par son amour fidèle.

A pastor, teacher, and continental ministry leader, Rev. Dr. Jean Libom Li Likeng serves as President of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa. His ministry joins deep biblical conviction with a shepherd's warmth — encouraging believers, discipling emerging leaders, and calling the African Church to live out the trust entrusted to it.
